Galatians 3
Galatians 3Justification by Faith 1 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth,[a] before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you[b] as crucified? 2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? 4 Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? It is interesting how many Scholars have missed this one. How is it a whole Theology can be built around so many other scriptures whereby blinding the eyes of them who seek their own AGENDA? What seemeth good to man doth not always seemeth good to God. We learn to hear the voice of God as we grow in Christ. We are told over and over again to Beware! The ole serpent, roams around the earth seeking to whom he can devour. He comes as a morning Star… as an angel of light; whispering a revelation into the ears of them who show no interest in Testing the Spirit, using Discernment, and waiting upon the Lord for such a confirmation. If it looks like poo, smells like poo, and tastes like poo, then it must be poo, right? Actually, no. I have sat under ministers who can preach a sermon that looked good, smelled good and tasted good, but all in all it was just poo. Did you not know that we are waring with our members night and day? The flesh: Eyes for sight, Ears to hear, the smell of enticement; and a Tongue for taste and speaking. And as if this were not enough temptation we are Battled in the Imagination of the Mind. Yes, what seemeth good to man, doth not seemeth good to God. Jesus, He is truly the Apple of God’s eye.
